Hemp is a strain of the Cannabis Sativa plant, also known as Industrial Hemp. Often grown for industrial and medical uses. Unlike its well-known cousin, hemp has little to no THC. THC is the active ingredient in marijuana responsible for the ‘high’ when ingesting it.
For thousands of years, Hemp was the go-to choice for ropes, ship sails, clothing, paper and more, due to the plants resilience, and strong tensile strength.
